Despite a new turret housing a 76mm gun, the M4A1 suffered from the same weaknesses as previous models.  Known by the Germans as Ronsons becasue of their ability to \""light up\"" first time, the Sherman's major strength was the numbers of them rolled onto the battlefield where the outnumbered the German tanks in what became a battle of attrition.\n\nIncludes decals for both US and German vehicles.\n\nDespite the box artwork showing the earlier 75mm turret, the rear box artwork shows the bigger 76mm turret. This is a re-released ex-Matchbox 1/72 kit.\n\nWhether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty.
