Dr. Oetker's Chocolate Chips are bake-stable, meaning they will hold their shape when baked into cakes, cupcakes, traybakes, brownies, muffins and more. Perfect for making chocolate chip cookies, muffins, and topping off ice cream and other desserts. Each pack contains 100g. Suitable for Vegetarians Dr. Oetker Cooking Tips: For a quick and easy method to melt Chocolate Chips, place the bag in a jug of hot water until melted. Cut the corner of the bag to make a small hole and use as a drizzle. To melt on the hob, place in a dry heatproof bowl over a pan of hot (not boiling) water and stir until smooth. Take care not to get water into the melting chocolate. To melt in the microwave (based on 850W) remove Chocolate Chips from the packaging and place them in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on medium (50%) power for 1 minute, then stir well. If required, heat in bursts of 10 seconds (50%) and stir until smooth. Take care when melting chocolate not to overheat. WARNING: Chocolate may become very hot! Take care with the chocolate after heating. PLEASE NOTE: Although stored in a chilled environment, we cannot guarantee this item will be delivered in a refrigerated vehicle.
